The breakfast here is amazing, with delicious fresh-baked bread, croissants, and fresh fruit.

The breakfast was varied and lovingly prepared, the location is fantastic on a lake, kayaks are available for free use and the outside location is beautifully designed (hot tube, beautiful seating areas with pillows and blankets, deck chairs) Just perfect to relax or go on trips to do the surroundings.

The cooking facilities were relatively limited, microwave and some dishes are available.

I really got my money's worth at this place. The room was spacious and had all the basic amenities. The location right on the ocean was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with a bit more variety in the menu.

The hotel was a unique base for enjoying a very relaxing area, very close to Sooke and the West Coast, British Columbia and a lagoon which is populated with lots of amazing wildlife to enjoy:)))

We absolutely loved our stay at Birds Of A Feather! The breathtaking views of the lagoon from our room were simply unforgettable. The warm and gracious hospitality of the owners made us feel right at home. We enjoyed canoeing on the lagoon, and the private hot tub under the stars was a truly special experience. The thoughtfully prepared breakfasts were delicious, with a variety of treats to choose from. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

Beautiful location overlooking a bird sanctuary. Comfortable room with lovely views. Friendly staff, homemade breakfast. Great for exploring historical landmarks with free canoe. Little noise from upstairs. Would stay again!

my recent stay in colwood was lovely, but birds of a feather ocean lagoon exceeded my expectations. the location was beautiful, overlooking the bird sanctuary. the room was tastefully furnished and had high-quality finishes. the owners were helpful in finding a meeting location for me.

We stayed at Birds Of A Feather and had an amazing time! The owners upgraded us to the Honeymoon suite which was a delightful surprise. The property is beautifully maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere and access to the lagoon. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were delightful. We loved watching the birds and kayaking in the estuary. Definitely a must-visit for a secluded getaway!
